1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Security Cargo Network website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Security Cargo Network (SCN) provides a global networking platform for independent freight forwarders, including but not limited to: member directory, conference organization, 1-to-1 meeting scheduling, payment protection programs, and digital communication tools.

3. Membership

  • Membership is subject to approval by the SCN membership committee.
  • Members must maintain accurate and up-to-date company and contact information.
  • Membership fees are non-refundable once the membership period has begun.
  • SCN reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for violation of these terms.

4. User Conduct

Users of the SCN platform agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information.
  • Not use the platform for fraudulent or illegal activities.
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of SCN and other members.
  • Not share login credentials with unauthorized persons.
  • Maintain professional conduct in all network interactions.

5. SecurityPlus Payment Protection

The SecurityPlus program is designed to protect inter-member transactions. Claims are subject to the specific terms and conditions of the SecurityPlus program, which are provided to members upon joining. SCN does not guarantee payment between members but provides a protection fund as an additional safeguard.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the SCN website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Security Cargo Network S.L. and is protected by international copyright laws. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

7. Limitation of Liability

SCN shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform or services. Our liability is limited to the amount of fees paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Barcelona, Spain.

9. Changes to Terms

SCN reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
